Hey everyone, quick update!
I’ve finished writing descriptions for every lesson in the new Module 1. Honestly, this was the toughest part of the whole process. Recording videos or writing songs? That’s something I could do all day. But writing descriptions? After 3-4 hours, my brain was fried, and everything I wrote after that was just garbage that I had to rewrite the next day.
But now I’m really happy with how it turned out! I’ve also decided to make the videos purely focused on showing you exactly what to do in each step, instead of just talking or writing about what you should do without showing it. Not that I was ever big on overexplaining things—I’ve always aimed to keep my tutorials sharp—but now I’ve even removed other time-wasting elements like logos, intros, and titles, so you get right into the lesson from the very start. That’s another 10 seconds saved every time you open a video.
The descriptions are quick to read—usually just 2-3 minutes. I’m also thinking about creating some audio files for the longer ones so you can just listen if you prefer that over reading.
So, what’s next?
In my last post, I mentioned I only needed to create the workbook, which is true. However, I also need to put together a course page with design, promo text, and all that fun stuff. The good news is, if you’re a member, you’ll get access to the new course before all the marketing is finished.
Keep in touch,
David
