Who is this module for?

Absolute Beginners: Just starting your piano journey? Perfect! Begin with this very first lesson and move forward step by step. You’ll find everything explained clearly, making it easy to get started.

If You Have Some Experience: Already played piano before? Great! Starting here is still a good idea. Why? Because it’s not just about playing a few beginner piano pieces from sheet music. Go through each lesson and make sure you’re comfortable with the play-along tracks, improvisation, and composition exercises. This is your opportunity to solidify your foundation in piano playing.

But there’s more: Under the Materials tab, I will share invaluable insights. You’ll discover common mistakes that beginners often make and learn how to avoid them. It’s not just about bad physical playing habits; it’s also about your mindset. Together, we’ll explore beliefs about the creative process that might be holding you back from being your most creative self right from the start.

What will I learn?

This module is designed to introduce you to the essentials of piano playing, including:

How long will it take to complete?

Fast Track: For dedicated students, this module can be completed in 2-3 weeks.

Regular Pace: Typically, it takes around 2-3 months to thoroughly absorb and practice the content.

How will I know I’m ready for the next module?

Each lesson includes clear milestones and objectives. Once you’ve confidently met these criteria and completed all the lessons, you’ll be ready to progress to Module 2. Remember, consistent practice and patience are key to your success!

All the sheet music and any accompanying backing tracks for the lessons are available under the Materials tab. There, you can download the complete workbook for the entire course, which includes these resources.

Why do the lessons vary in quality?

1. Evolving Content: Some of the content in the beginner modules was first developed 7 years ago. Since then, I’ve been periodically revising old lessons and updating new ones to ensure they remain current and engaging.
2. Continuous Improvement: Some lessons have already been refreshed, while others are queued for updates. By 2024, the oldest lessons will be revamped, and this process of continual enhancement will persist to maintain the highest quality and relevance of the material.
3. Your Voice Matters: Your feedback is invaluable! If there are specific lessons you’d like to see updated sooner, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Lessons with the most requests will be given priority in the updating process.
